Google Wallet Now Free to All Alliance Members
With new technologies floating around it’s hard to focus on which ones are actually useful and which ones will quickly disappear. When you find a good app or device that makes your everyday life easier, it’s hard to keep it to yourself. Enter Google Wallet.
Google Wallet is a virtual wallet that allows you to sync your credit cards to your Android phone. Once your credit cards are synced with your virtual wallet, you can use your phone to pay for purchases with a simple tap, or swipe of the phone. Google Wallet is a safe and secure way to make purchases without your physical wallet in hand.
As Alliance’s newest technological venture, Google Wallet is now available to all Alliance cardholders who use an Android smartphone. Alliance is one of the first credit unions to offer Google Wallet as a free service! Members with certain Android-based smart phones will be able to pay for purchases at more than 200,000 businesses nationwide by simply tapping the phone on any PayPass-enabled terminal at checkout.
Add your Alliance Visa® credit and MasterMoney debit card to your virtual wallet and use it in stores that offer PayPass. With Google Wallet, you can view your transactions to manage your spending. To locate stores that accept PayPass, you can use the MasterCard locator app (available FREE from the Google Play store).
